Q How do I add family members?

Tap the 🔒 lock icon in the header, enter your 4-digit parent PIN, then go to Settings. You can add up to 8 family members with custom names, avatars, and daily prayer goals.

Q I forgot my parent PIN. How do I reset it?

Currently, the PIN is stored locally on your device. If you've forgotten it, please email us at support@salahstars.app and we can help you reset your account settings.

Q How do streaks work?

You build a streak by meeting your daily prayer goal every day. If you miss a day, streak shields can protect your streak automatically. You earn shields as you gain XP. If your streak breaks and you have no shields, you have a 2-day window to recover it by spending XP.

Q What happens at 2000 XP?

You reach "Jannah Seeker" rank and trigger a prestige reset! Your XP goes back to zero, your prestige level increases, and you climb the ranks again. It's a fresh challenge each time.

Q How do I invite friends?

Go to the Friends tab and tap "Invite Friends". You'll get a unique invite link that you can share via WhatsApp, SMS, or email. When the other family signs up using your link, you'll be connected automatically.

Q Is my data safe?

Yes. We use Supabase with Row Level Security, meaning each family can only access their own data. We don't sell data, don't run ads, and don't track user behavior. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Q How do I delete my account?

Send an email to support@salahstars.app with the subject "Delete My Account" and the email address associated with your account. We will permanently delete all your data within 30 days.

Q Does the app work offline?

Yes! Prayer tracking works offline. Your data syncs to the cloud automatically when you're back online.
